A heinous crime has occurred within the limits of Kukatpally, Hyderabad. A woman has revealed to the media that a man—who had convinced her that he loved her—not only completely deceived her but also gang-raped her in collusion with his friends.

She recounted the atrocity committed against her to the media as follows:
"A young man named Nawaz approached me, stating that he was looking for a shop. After I rented the shop to him, he began cultivating a relationship with me. Under the guise of friendship, he started following me. He pursued me relentlessly, claiming that he was in love with me. Believing him to be sincere, I accepted his love. He changed my name to Navadurga and married me in June 2025."

On our wedding night, he laced a soft drink with a sedative. Unaware of this, I consumed it. Subsequently, he and four of his friends gang-raped me. He threatened to kill me if I revealed the incident to anyone. He then took out loans against the apartment registered in my name and my gold jewelry, and fled. She stated in her complaint that upon making further inquiries about him, she discovered that I was his third wife. She has appealed for justice.
